Hi I’m Becky and I’m glad you’re here.

I grew up in the country in NE Ohio with parents that bred and raised Dalmatians.  It was then that I fell in love with dogs and the care and placement of puppies.  Over the years I’ve owned, competed with and shown many breeds of dogs including: Great Danes, Bedlington Terrier, Welsh Terrier, English Cocker Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdog, Manchester Terrier and of course Portuguese Water Dogs.

In 2007 I started the search for a new breed of dog.  I was looking for a dog with a similar temperament to my Great Danes, but smaller in size, with a longer lifespan.  I came at a crossroads between a Poodle and a Portuguese Water Dog.  And while I love them both, I liked the hardiness and working attitude of the PWD.

I enjoy competing with my PWD’s in conformation (Westminster type shows), Rally Obedience, trick training and of course Agility.  We also enjoy doing demos for my dog training business, The Naughty Dog Training, and helping others to learn about this wonderful breed.

My husband and I have three boys and a girl that love to help with the dogs and are expert level puppy socializers.  We enjoy hiking, biking and traveling.
